Terms of Service — SiratSync

1. Acceptance of Terms

By creating an account or using SiratSync, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, you must not use the App.

2. Use of the App

SiratSync grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes in accordance with these Terms.

You agree to use SiratSync responsibly and respectfully. You must not:

• Misuse, hack, exploit, or attempt to gain unauthorized access to the App, its systems, or other users' accounts
• Upload, post, or transmit any content that is harmful, offensive, defamatory, or illegal
• Attempt to access data that does not belong to you
• Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the App
• Use the App to violate any applicable laws or regulations
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the App

3. Accounts

Account Creation

You may create an account using Google authentication or email registration. When creating an account, you agree to provide accurate and complete information.

Account Responsibilities

You are solely responsible for:

• Maintaining the confidentiality of your password and account information
• All activities that occur under your account
• Your community posts and any content you share through the App
• Keeping your account secure and notifying us immediately of any unauthorized use

Account Suspension

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that:

• Violate these Terms or our Community Guidelines
• Spread hate speech, misinformation, or harmful content
• Share inappropriate, offensive, or illegal content
• Engage in spam, fraudulent, or abusive behavior

4. Community Feature

The Community feature allows users to share posts, insights, and engage with other members of the SiratSync community.

Content Ownership and License

By posting in the community:

• Your posts become publicly visible to other SiratSync users
• You retain ownership of your original content
• You grant SiratSync a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and format your content for the purpose of operating and improving the App

Prohibited Content

You agree NOT to post any of the following types of content:

• Hate speech: Content that attacks or demeans individuals or groups based on race, ethnicity, religion, gender, sexual orientation, or other protected characteristics
• Violence: Threats of violence, glorification of violence, or content that encourages harm
• Vulgar content: Obscene, pornographic, or sexually explicit material
• Political propaganda: Content primarily intended for political campaigning or recruitment
• Spam: Unsolicited commercial content, repetitive posts, or irrelevant links
• Advertising: Promotional content for products, services, or other apps without authorization
• Religiously offensive or disrespectful content: Content intended to insult, demean, or attack any religion, religious figure, or religious community.
• Unauthenticated or unreliable religious content presented as verified scripture Fabricated or unauthenticated religious texts presented as authentic
• Personal attacks: Harassment, bullying, or targeted abuse of other users
• Private information: Sharing others' personal information without consent

5. Intellectual Property

SiratSync Property

All code, design, branding, user interface, and proprietary technology of SiratSync are the intellectual property of the developer and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.

Islamic Content

Islamic texts including Quran, Hadith, and Duas belong to their respective owners, compilers, and sources. SiratSync uses these texts under appropriate licenses or public domain provisions where applicable.

You may not extract, copy, or redistribute substantial portions of our content for commercial purposes without permission.

6. Disclaimer of Religious Guidance

SiratSync provides Islamic content from authenticated sources to the best of our ability. However, we do not guarantee:

• Fiqh rulings or legal interpretations
• Theological interpretations or explanations
• Absolute accuracy of translations or contextual understanding
• Completeness of any content category

7. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SiratSync and its developers shall not be responsible for:

• Any device issues, malfunctions, or compatibility problems
• Data loss, corruption, or unauthorized access
• Service interruptions, outages, or technical problems with third-party services
• Community content posted by other users
• Any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages
• Any actions or inactions of other users

Use SiratSync at your own discretion. We provide the App on an "as is" and "as available" basis.

8. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. You may also terminate your account at any time by contacting us or using the account deletion feature in the App.

Upon termination:

• Your right to use the App immediately ceases
• You must cease all use of the App
• We may retain certain information as required by law or for legitimate business purposes

9. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we make changes, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

10. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where the developer operates and maintains the SiratSync application. Any legal disputes shall be resolved in the appropriate courts of that jurisdiction.

11. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid, illegal or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect, and the invalid provision shall be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make it valid and enforceable.
